Harvest Social (Life Groups)
Why do life alone when we can do it together? At HC we believe that genuine spiritual growth occurs when people meet in person. It's difficult to do that in a church row. That's why we've developed Harvest Social! Harvest Social allows individuals to share genuine life-on-life community with a few other Christians in the larger church. This includes men's prayer & fitness, women's prayer & fitness, along with faith & finance. Harvest Social a great way to meet new people and grow both physically and spiritually as followers of Christ.
Harvest Teams (Serve)
Serving the local church means to help the body of Christ as a way to bring glory to God rather than ourselves. We transmit the love of Jesus to people around us via this act of worship. Serving in the local church can take various forms, but the Bible can help us narrow down our options by identifying our spiritual gifts (1 Peter 4:10). Explore the many ways you can serve at Harvest Church! One of the best ways to live like Jesus is to serve others.
Baby/Toddler Dedication
Dedicating a child acknowledges God's sovereignty not only over the child, but also Mom and Dad. Parents present their child before God and His people asking for grace and wisdom in carrying out their responsibilities. Parents also come praying that their child might one day trust Jesus Christ as Savior for the forgiveness of sin.
Marriage Preparation
Marriage is an institution created by God for a man and a woman to become husband and wife for as long as they both shall live. As such, we at Harvest Church want to ensure that any couple we marry is set up for a successful and long-lasting marriage. Ultimately, that is dependent upon those making the vows, but we approach our role with a profound sense of responsibility.
